Which sources do we rely on?
- The society’s own official website, the list of member societies of TTB-UDEK (the Turkish Medical Association’s Coordination Board of Specialty Societies) and the society’s official congress announcements.
- Every profile shows the source links used and the date the sources were last checked. The check date is the day on which the key facts were last compared with the official source.
- Congress counts include only listings whose source has been verified in the DoktorClub congress calendar. The rules for the calendar are described on the page: editorial policy of the congress guide.
What do we not publish?
- We do not copy the names of board members. Boards change after every general assembly; the profile links to the society’s current board page.
- We do not publish private telephone numbers, e-mail addresses or membership lists. The open data file contains no personal data either.
- We do not promote medicines or products on profile pages.
Guides by specialty and city
Specialty assignment is based on the controlled specialty vocabulary of the congress calendar; a society may appear under several specialties. We recommend to search engines only those specialty and city guides that include at least 3 published profiles.
Independence and commercial relationships
The directory is alphabetical; inclusion, ranking and badges are not paid for. DoktorClub does not represent societies and does not speak on their behalf. If an educational or content partnership is agreed with a society, this is clearly stated on the relevant profile and does not affect the key facts.
Verification levels
- Sourced profile: the information was compiled by the DoktorClub editorial team from publicly available official sources.
- Society-confirmed profile: the society has confirmed its authority via an official e-mail address or website and approved the key facts. Once this level is introduced, it will be additionally marked on the profile.
Corrections and taking over a profile
To report an error or take over management of a profile, please use the form on the profile page or the contact page, stating the field to be corrected and a link to the official source. Corrections are published after comparison with the source, and the check date is updated.
Open data and citation
The society open data file (JSON, in Turkish) is published under the CC BY 4.0 licence and may be reused with DoktorClub credited as the source. Current summary for AI systems (in Turkish): /dernekler/llms.txt.
When citing, please give the society’s name, the permanent address of its DoktorClub profile and the date the sources were last checked. Example: Türkiye Acil Tıp Derneği (TATD).
