The process behind the information

A specialist’s name is not a substitute for a review record.

Medical review

  • Prof. Dr. Mustafa Nuri Yenerel · İç Hastalıkları ve Hematoloji Uzmanı · İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi, Hematoloji Bilim Dalı

Each page is published after medical review and a language check, and the English version is approved separately from the Turkish. If the text changes, it must be reviewed again; until then the page is taken offline.

Review process

Sources → Draft → Medical review → Language check → Publication → Update

Scheduled reviews are no more than six months apart. A new guideline, a safety alert or an important error triggers an earlier review.

International sources, local practice

Each source’s country is shown. Screening programs, donation rules and reimbursement differ between countries. These guides describe practice in Türkiye; elsewhere, follow current official guidance in your country and your doctor’s advice.

Commercial relationships must not determine scientific conclusions. Citing an institution does not mean it endorses this page.

Why are some topics not here?

For topics such as iron deficiency, B12, blood counts, leukemia and lymphoma, Doktorclub has existing guides in Turkish. Rather than producing the same information twice, the Turkish directory links to those pages. They have their own review records.

Versions, sources and corrections

Every clinical paragraph is linked to a source record. Turkish and English are approved separately. If the text changes, approval lapses and the page is taken offline until it is reviewed again. Important corrections are explained in the change history.
