Istanbul, 2 June 2025 – DoktorClub has launched an AI-supported health news service that makes it easier for physicians to follow new scientific publications in their fields. The service summarizes new publications added to PubMed in Turkish and offers physicians daily briefings filtered by specialty.
Thousands of new medical articles are published worldwide every day. Amid a busy clinical schedule, keeping up with this flow is nearly impossible for a physician. DoktorClub's new service filters this flow and shows physicians, in a short and readable form, what has changed in their specialty.
“A physician's problem with access to information is no longer a lack of information but an excess of it. Here we use artificial intelligence to protect the physician's attention: Every morning, you see what matters in your specialty, in Turkish and with its source. You reach the article you find worth reading with a single click.”
Gökçe YaraşanFounder & CEO, DoktorClubWhat does the service offer?
- Turkish summaries of new publications
- Filtering by specialty
- Daily briefing
- A link to the original article below every summary
“A summary does not replace the article; it is a way to find the article that needs to be read. That is why we show the original publication below every summary, and whenever a finding could change clinical practice, we always direct the physician to the source.”
Dr. Hamza GemiciMedical Director, DoktorClubHow does the service work?
The service monitors PubMed's feed of new publications. New publications are classified by specialty, summarized in Turkish with the support of artificial intelligence and published together with a link to the original article. Physicians can narrow their feed by selecting only their own specialty or a few specialties they are interested in.
Medical review and editorial independence
Medical content on DoktorClub is published with its sources and goes through review by a physician editor in the relevant specialty and approval by the Medical Director. Decisions on topics and publication are made by the Medical Director and the editors. Sponsored content is clearly labeled and cannot influence editorial decisions. The author, reviewing physician, date and sources appear below every piece of content; the Scientific Advisory Board oversees content quality and currency.
