DoktorClub Awards 2023 winners announced
Awards were presented in 18 categories at the seventh DoktorClub Awards. Approximately 100,000 physicians chose the winners from among the finalists determined by a 113-member independent jury.
Highlights
- The ceremony was held on 29 December 2023 at İstanbul Üniversitesi (Istanbul University) Ord. Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilsel Konferans Salonu (Conference Hall).
- Awards were presented in 18 categories; the finalists were determined by 113 independent jury members.
- The Honorary Award went to Prof. Dr. Engin Bermek; a special award for health journalism was presented for the first time.
- Public institutions also received awards: Sağlık Bakanlığı Sağlık Hizmetleri Genel Müdürlüğü (Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Services) and Samsun İl Sağlık Müdürlüğü (Samsun Provincial Health Directorate).
Istanbul, 30 December 2023 – DoktorClub Awards 2023 winners were honored at a ceremony held on 29 December 2023 at İstanbul Üniversitesi (Istanbul University) Ord. Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilsel Konferans Salonu (Conference Hall). In the program, organized for the seventh time, awards were presented in 18 categories. The finalists determined by a 113-member independent jury were put to the vote of approximately 100,000 DoktorClub member physicians.

First special award for health journalism
This year, DoktorClub Awards presented a special award in health journalism for the first time. The award aims to bring visibility to work in health reporting that conveys accurate, source-based information to the public.

DoktorClub Awards, known as Türkiye's Health Awards, is an annual awards program organized by DoktorClub since 2017. The program recognizes physicians' scientific, clinical and social contributions; the R&D and social responsibility work of the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors; health startups; the innovative practices of public and private healthcare institutions; and civil society projects. Applications are first evaluated by an independent jury of scientific and industry members; finalists are then put to a vote by the verified physician members of the DoktorClub platform.
