Breakthrough Findings in a Study of Biomarkers That Predict Mortality Risk
A new large-scale study in the field of longevity and preventive medicine has mapped specific biomarkers that can predict individuals' overall health status and mortality (death) risk years in advance. According to the published study, certain molecular and metabolic parameters measured in the blood provide critical signals about biological aging and death risk, even at early stages when chronic diseases and cellular aging have not yet produced clinical symptoms.

As part of the study, long-term follow-up data and blood biochemistry analyses of tens of thousands of individuals were examined with advanced artificial intelligence models. The findings showed that markers of systemic inflammation (for example, hs-CRP), lipid profiles, glucose metabolism parameters, and kidney and liver function biomarkers, as well as epigenetic aging clocks, correlated directly with death risk. The combination of these biomarkers provided far more precise results in individual life expectancy estimates than standard chronological age assessments.

Cellular biology and anti-aging experts draw attention to the decisive role of "biological age" and cellular wear, rather than chronological age, on health. Detecting metabolic stress, oxidative damage and silent inflammation processes in the body through these biomarker panels makes it possible to carry out targeted interventions before cardiovascular diseases, cancer and neurodegenerative disorders develop.

Scientists state that the results mark the start of a new era in personalized preventive medicine and biological age management. It is predicted that, thanks to comprehensive biomarker panels to be included in routine health screenings, individuals will be able to slow their biological aging processes through lifestyle changes, nutrition protocols and geroprotective treatments, and maintain a healthier long life.
