“When we talk about artificial intelligence, we get stuck between two extremes: Either it will solve everything or nothing can be trusted. This report was prepared to show, with data, the real picture between those two extremes. What physicians need is not hype, but evidence showing how reliable each tool is for each clinical question.”
Dr. Hamza GemiciMedical Director, DoktorClubRegulatory framework and forecasts
The report addresses artificial intelligence applications in healthcare from the perspective of KVKK (Türkiye's personal data protection law) and TİTCK (Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency) regulations and offers forecasts for the 2026–2027 period. The full report was published under a CC BY 4.0 license so that it can be used freely with attribution.
“We published this report under an open license because there is no shared data foundation on artificial intelligence in healthcare in Türkiye. We want academics, journalists, regulators and companies to be able to talk on the basis of the same figures. We will update the report every year.”
