DOKGPT launches: Türkiye's artificial intelligence assistant exclusively for physicians opens to DoktorClub members
DOKGPT, developed by DoktorClub since 2023, has been made available to verified physician members with Turkish-language clinical Q&A, source-cited answers and clinical calculators.

Istanbul, 17 February 2025 – DoktorClub, Türkiye's largest digital physician platform, has opened DOKGPT, its artificial intelligence assistant exclusively for physicians, to its members. Developed by the artificial intelligence team set up in 2023, DOKGPT aims to let physicians reach the information they need during the day in Turkish and together with its source.
Unlike general-purpose chatbots, DOKGPT is open only to DoktorClub members who have gone through activation approval. Answers are given together with links to the sources they are based on; physicians can see where the information comes from and verify it.

The rule: the final decision rests with the physician
DoktorClub positions DOKGPT as a decision support tool. The terms of use clearly state that information identifying the patient must not be entered into the system and that the answers do not replace clinical judgment.

General-purpose artificial intelligence tools do not know who is asking the question and often give their answers without citing sources. These tools use the same language for patients and physicians, and they may also be limited in Turkish medical terminology and in the names of medicines in Türkiye. Because DOKGPT is open only to verified healthcare professionals, it can give its answers at the level of clinical detail physicians need and shows the source it relies on in every answer.
Who can use it?
DOKGPT can be accessed by members with activation approval who sign in with their doktorclub.com account.
Physicians who are not DoktorClub members can apply free of charge at doktorclub.com/register, and medical students and interns can apply free of charge with student membership.
